A native of Mobile, Alabama and record-breaking star at Saraland High School, KJ was a consensus four-star recruit and one of the top quarterbacks in the 2025 class. Named Alabama’s Mr. Football as a senior, he finished his high school career with 10,985 passing yards and over 120 touchdown passes, leading Saraland to a state championship and multiple title game appearances. Lacey enrolled as a freshman in 2025 and made his collegiate debut, appearing in one game and completing his first career pass.

ABOUT KJ

A native of Mobile, AL and record-breaking star at Saraland High School (AL), KJ was a consensus four star recruit and top ten quarterback in the 2025 recruiting class.

During his senior year, he totaled more than 3000 yards passing and 40 TDs, led Saraland to the state finals for the third time, and was named a 2025 Under Armour All-American. KJ finished his remarkable career with 130 TD passes and 10,985 passing yards – the second-highest tally in state history.

A three-year starter with a record of 39-3 and a state title victory in 2022, KJ is a two-time first team All-State honoree, two-time Alabama Back of the Year finalist and is a nominee for this year’s Alabama Mr. Football award. He was named MVP of the 2024 Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Game, the 2024 Zaxbys High School Player of the Year, and competed as a 2024 Elite 11 Finalist.
